SUPPORT RANGE FOR ROLLS ROYCE PROPULSION

Bartech Propulsion is thrilled to be able to support Rolls-Royce Propulsion systems, offering technical advice, consultancy, and repairs provision.

A household name, Rolls-Royce was founded in Manchester in 1906 and is today one of the most well-known names in engineering. They created their first aero engine in 1914 as a response to the first world war, but now make propulsion for various needs, both on land and at sea.

The power systems section of their company focuses on creating complete propulsion systems, energy solutions, and safety-critical systems. This work makes up 18.5% of their total employees, located in 1,200 different locations. Last year, they sold 20,000 reciprocating engines.

Right now, over 20,000 commercial and naval ships around the world use some form of Rolls-Royce equipment. This number contains 400 different ships in 30 navies that Rolls-Royce powers.

When it comes to marine vessels, Rolls-Royce provides complete design, systems, and equipment packages, no matter the type of vessel the client owns. For example, they have worked with fishing boats to ropax and roro vessels; coastguard ships to offshore service vessels.

The products Rolls-Royce provide include but are not limited to:

-   Deck machinery

-   Complete propulsion systems

-   Motion control

-   Waterjets

-   Azimuth thrusters

-   Gearboxes

-   Propellers
